| Hello Pilgrims, Thanks so much for your support for our peace pilgrimage from Oxford to DSEI this September. We’d like to ask you to consider donating to our 2025 fundraiser: our witness for peace relies on donations from people like you. |
| As you probably know by now, this September, we are organising a walking pilgrimage from Oxford to the EXCEL centre in London. We’ll be taking a message to the world’s largest arms fair that the work of promoting international trust and active peacemaking is far more fruitful than sabre rattling. Each day of our progress we reach out! Along the way, we camp indoors hosted by church halls and community organisations, we meet and eat with interested people and communities. We hand out many leaflets to the public, promote a petition to the government and publish a blog of our thoughts on our progress. Help us raise money to support our outreach! Outreach and documentation is a really important element to maximise the intentions of the pilgrimage and the effectiveness of our action. We want to: design and print many leaflets to distribute and to assist conversations hire a freelance person(s) to support us with leaflet design, video editing, social media and updating our blog |
| We are fortunate to have a grant from the Passionists that contributes to the costs of planning and logistical coordination of the pilgrimage. Alongside outreach, your contribution will help maintain this fund that keeps the pilgrimage on the road. Any remaining funds will be used towards future peace pilgrimages. If making a financial contribution is difficult for you right now, your help spreading the word will still be very helpful – please share the link (some sample text you can copy below) and encourage others to donate and/or fill out the expression of interest form.
